Institute for Christian Apologetics’ first seminar of the fall

Event: Trinity Western University (ACTS division) is pleased to announce that the Institute for Christian Apologetics will hold its first public seminar of the fall on October 19, 2002. This event is designed for pastors, lay people, students and seekers of faith.

Topic: In defense of our faith: Why Jesus?

Speaker: Paul Chamberlain, PhD, Director of the Institute for Christian Apologetics at

Chamberlain will address often asked questions such as:
• With all the other “Spiritual Options” available, why Jesus?
• Who is Jesus? Jewish peasant? Great teacher? God the Son? New Age Guru? Wandering Wordsmith?
• How can Jesus be the only way?
• Can I trust what the Bible says about Jesus?
• Why did Jesus have to die?

Paul Chamberlain has taught at Trinity Western University since 1990 and most recently has been the Canadian Director for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. His primary areas of teaching are Christian Apologetics, Ethics, Philosophy of Religion and Political Philosophy. He is the author of two books and a number of articles on social and apologetic issues He currently serves as professor of Apologetics and Ethics at ACTS and is Director of the Institute for Christian Apologetics at ACTS.
