International pianist and composer to perform at TWU

The public is invited to an upcoming musical performance at Trinity Western University featuring special guest, Leslie Janos, an accomplished pianist, composer and teacher. The performance will include selections from Schubert, Chopin as well as other compositions by Janos.

“Janos’ plays a selection of pieces that prove he is a musician that keeps in with the tradition of the great composers of the past. They were great pianists, and I consider him in their company,” says Ron Moir, a TWU music professor and host for TWU’s Chapel, Court and Countryside series.

Leslie Janos has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Although he specializes as a soloist, Janos has collaborated with musical groups such as The Cassenti Players, The Purcell String Quartet, Vancouver New Music Society, The C.B.C. Chamber Orchestra and The St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.
