Capital opportunities at Trinity Western University

Trinity Western University's Laurentian Leadership Centre is looking to fill seats in Ottawa. From Wednesday, September 29 to Friday, October 1st the community is invited to meet with representatives from the LLC as they hold LLC Awareness Week at the Langley campus for prospective students. Since the fall of 2002 the LLC in Ottawa has provided students with the opportunity to pursue academics while interning in some of the nation's most prestigious offices. Now the creators of this semester-long program are inviting interested applicants to get a feel for what working and studying in the capital is like.

In attendance will be Paul Wilson, executive director of the LLC and Dr. Janet Epp Buckingham, LLC political studies instructor and director of law and public policy for the general legal counsel. Both Epp and Wilson will be available to discuss the LLC program with potential applicants. They will provide information on pre-requisites, application dates and course advising for entrance to the LLC.

Buckingham, who also serves as director for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada's Centre for Faith and Public Life, will give a guest lecture on the topic of Defining Marriage and Religious Liberty in a Multi-Cultural Society.
