LANGLEY, British Columbia – After yet another outstanding year for the Spartans in the sporting arena and with the 2010-11 season just over a week away from being officially put to bed, we take a look back at each team and the season they had competing for Spartans Athletics and a look forward into what the future might hold in 2011-12.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western’s women’s soccer team continued to stock the cupboard with high-level talent Tuesday with the signing of recruit Alessandra Oliverio of Calgary, who will join the Spartans in the fall of 2011.
WHITECAPS STANDOUT KOVACS SIGNS WITH SPARTANS

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western University women’s soccer head coach Graham Roxburgh announced Tuesday afternoon that Vancouver Whitecaps U18 squad and Canadian U20 National Team defender/midfielder Vanessa Kovacs will be joining the three time national champion Spartans for the fall 2011 season.

CHARLOTTETOWN (CIS) – Fifth-year University of Montreal striker Véronique Laverdière was named the Canadian Interuniversity Sport player of the year in women’s soccer, Wednesday night.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Spartans women’s soccer will look to stop a three-game winless streak as they take on Fraser Valley Friday and Victoria Saturday. Trinity Western’s women’s team has never gone four games without a win and will hope to turn last weekend’s tide back on Fraser Valley in order to avoid the historic streak. Kickoff for both games is 5:00 p.m.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Spartans women’s soccer will look to stop a three-game winless streak as they take on Fraser Valley Friday and Victoria Saturday. LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western women's soccer team is off to a 4-0 start after last weekend beating Regina 2-0 and Manitoba 1-0 but will be in tough this weekend as they host Saskatchewan (1-2-1) Friday and play Alberta (4-0-0) Saturday, a team that is ranked No. 4 in Canada. Both matches are scheduled for 5 p.m.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – After opening the Canada West season on the road the No. 1 Trinity Western Spartans women’s soccer team returns to Langley, B.C. and Rogers Field for their home opener against the unranked University of Regina Cougars (1-0-1) Friday night and the University of Manitoba (0-1-1) on Saturday night. Both matches scheduled for 5 p.m. starts.
