Andrea Soberg, MIR, CHRP

Associate Professor

  • Biography

    Andrea Soberg has worked for TWU since 1999 and was Dean of the School of Business from 2008-2014. She is also an Associate Professor, leading the HR Management specialization in the BBA program. In addition to her work at TWU, she continues to run People First Consulting where she works with organizations, in both the private and public sector, assisting them in becoming more productive and profitable through effective planning and use of their people. She has been a presenter at national conferences, has taught at the Business Schools at the University of Victoria and Camosun College, Victoria, and been a guest lecturer at Fachushule Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

    Ms. Soberg is the author of several articles in field of human resources and has published a hands-on book entitled Human Resource Planning: An Introduction She holds a Master of Industrial Relations degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, and has the professional certification for  human resources, Certified Human Resource Professional.
